Rosalyn M. Story

Rosalyn M. Story is a violinist with the Fort Worth Symphony and teaches Black Music History at Southern Methodist University. And So I Sing inspired the PBS documentary Aida’s Brothers and Sisters, and Story’s articles have appeared in Essence and the Dallas Morning News. Her novel, Sing Her Name, won a Midwest Independent Publisher’s Association award. Her novel, Wading Home, winner of a Sphinx Organization MPower grant, was adapted as an opera and performed in the United States and South Africa. She lives in Dallas. TX.
